My clay work encompasses functional and sculptural expression – one inspires the other. Mugs, jugs and bowls are favorite useful objects I make, with the same wheel thrown technique providing a jumping off point for my abstract, small scale sculptures. Often, the horse recaptures my childhood obsession with equine character and gesture.
